Ann Arbor Book Fair

Ann Arbor book fair is held annually in May of each year.

The mission of the book fair is primarily to promote reading, heighten awareness of literacy challenges, and to showcase the culture of the written word in Michigan.

Each year, the book fair brings together a group of community leaders that are committed to literature, language and the arts in Michigan.

The event schedule in the past years has included special events, bookstore events, as well as a street fair during the weekend of the book fair duration.

The special events have included literacy symposiums, writer's conferences, author breakfasts, and author home events.

Bookstore events, on the other hand, are mainly author book readings and signings from locally and nationally recognized authors, such as Elizabeth Goodenough, John Sandford, and Bobby Flay.

The event has a website at www.aabookfestival.org, which is the premier source of information on what the event will include each year and the event happenings.
