The Bank Street Bookshop, which is located at 610 West 112 Street in New York, opened in 1970 in a small space in the lobby of the Bank Street College. However, due to the bookstore’s success there was a need to move to a larger location at 112th Street and Broadway. Over the years, the bookstore has grown into a resource for the neighborhood and for the community of parents and educators worldwide.
