Book Fair Business

There are opportunities in book fair business area, with companies such as Scholastic.

Book fairs are usually about bringing together book publishers, book resellers, book lovers, and authors, centered around different themes.

The biggest book fairs, of course, such as the Frankfurt Book Fair, encompass all literary genres, whereas there are also many less celebrated book fairs that concentrate on the smaller niches of books.

If you're interested in starting to organize book fairs, you may do so on your own, choosing a literary genre, and bringing together the businesses, authors, and consumers around that literary genre, or going the overall book fair route, which is typically more expensive to organize.

Scholastic is one of the few companies that provides a framework for having book fairs, centered around childrens' books.

The book fair with Scholastic will be centered around the published works that are available through the company, as they are one of the premier global children's publishing, education and media companies.

Typically, however, Scholastic book fairs are organized by teachers or organizations that want to raise funds to the schools they work for. Then, Scholastic provides everything they need to have an extraordinary event while raising funds through hosting a Book Fair.
