Scholastic is one of the few publishers that have global reach, with offices in 16 countries. Scholastic is in fact one of the largest publishers and distributors of children's books in the world, serving millions of children, families and schools. In the US, they offer book fairs to schools that want to promote children's reading and fund specific goals for the organizers. Even though they do not have franchise opportunities available as such based on the information from their website, it would not hurt to contact them and ask whether they are potentially interested in providing franchise credentials in areas where they do not operate, especially outside of the U.S.
