CLC Bookshop
The organization that owns the bookstores aims to make evangelical Christian literature available "so that people may come to faith and maturity in the Lord Jesus Christ". They have been in that business since their founding in 1941. They are represented by 175 bookshops, 17 distribution warehouses and 18 publishing houses and a website at clcbookshops.com. CLC in fact was one of the first Christian bookstore chains in the UK. Today CLC has expanded its work to over 50 countries with more than 700 workers who are involved in the many different aspects of the literature ministry. Over 80% of CLCers are national workers in their home countries with about 20% functioning as cross-cultural missionaries.
