London Book Fair 2008

London Book Fair 2008 was held on 14-16 April 2008 at Earls Court, in London, UK.

In comparison to 2007 fair, there were some improvements for 2008.

For 2008, the fair opened a new hall, the Earls Court Two to maximise the space and choice available to exhibitors.

Both halls 1 and 2 are connected and to most visitors they appeared as one hall.

The expansion to Earls Court Two gave higher ceilings, further catering and toilet facilities, and another entrance.

For those thinking to visit the fair, there are several good reasons to do so:

  • You can place orders or make purchasing decisions and negotiate the best deals face-to-face
  • Buy and sell rights within the International Rights Centre
  • Meet publishers from both independent and large publishing houses from around the world
  • Discover the latest industry news and spot forthcoming trends
  • View the latest titles
  • Participate in the free of charge seminars
  • Network with colleagues and peers from the over 23,000 members of the global publishing community
  • Meet authors

The official website for the annual book fair is located at londonbookfair.co.uk.
