That Bookstore in Blytheville

That bookstore in Blytheville is an independent bookshop in the historic downtown district of Blytheville, Arkansas.

Their store does not only offer top notch reading material, but also author signings and special events.

The bookshop opened its doors when Mary Gay Shipley opened the bookshop in Blytheville, Arkansas, back in 1976.

Since that modest beginning, the store has become a truly unique Mid-American landmark.

Today, the store offers 2400 sq feet of space with more than 25,000 titles in stock.

The store invites people to spend time in the store, to browse the titles they might like while having a cup of the store's own blend of coffee.

To make their customers more at home, they have rocking chairs available next to a wood stove. This is also one of the reasons why booklovers like to spend their afternoons at the store.

The bookstore also has an online presence at www.tbib.com, made and run in partnership with Book Sense.
